Rally Your Clan: Operation Atramentum is Coming to Warframe!

If you have been waiting for a reason to get your entire Clan back together, Digital Extremes just dropped the perfect excuse. Warframe is officially gearing up for its next massive limited time event, Operation Atramentum, and it is bringing a serious challenge to the Origin System starting April 2!

The event is set to take place within the ruined Vesper Relay, and it promises a mix of brand new loot and returning rewards for the dedicated Tenno who jump in. Let us break down exactly what you need to know before the action kicks off.

What to Expect and How to Prepare

First things first, you cannot just load up a brand new account and jump straight into the fray. The developers have confirmed that you must complete the Chains of Harrow quest in order to participate. If you have any friends who are new to the game, you have a few weeks to carry them through the story so they are ready to go.

Here is a quick look at what is coming with the update:

• Clan Trophies: It is time to coordinate with your Clanmates. Depending on your overall participation and performance during the event, your Clan will unlock different tiers of exclusive trophies, ranging from Terracotta all the way up to Gold, to display proudly in your Dojo.
• Holographic Mods: This is the addition that has hardcore collectors completely hyped. A brand new vendor is arriving with the operation who will give you the ability to add a special foil effect to your mods, making them beautifully holographic!
• TennoGen Shadowgrapher: Dropping alongside the event preparations is a brand new wave of community created cosmetics. You can expect striking new skins and helmets for Warframes like Styanax and Nova to make sure you are looking your best while grinding for that foil loot.

The event runs from April 2 all the way through April 23, giving you exactly three weeks to farm out everything the new vendor has to offer. Giving players the ability to make their mods holographic is such a clever late game resource sink, and it is definitely going to keep the veterans busy. Make sure your Clan is organized and ready to hold the line!
